Amidst the talented players of Penn FC Youth, 2006 M Black player, Alex Dubbs has distinguished himself not only for his skills on the soccer field but also for his outstanding character and commitment to his community. Recently honored with the prestigious Good Citizenship Award from Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer, sponsored by the Union League of Philadelphia, Alex epitomizes the values of cooperative effort, self-control, perseverance, and good sportsmanship. This esteemed recognition not only celebrates Alex’s exemplary qualities but also opens doors for his future endeavors, as he becomes eligible for a college scholarship worth at least $5,000 per year. Congratulations to Alex Dubbs for the well-deserved accolade, serving as a true inspiration for his peers and embodying the spirit of good citizenship both on and off the field!

Congratulations to Penn FC (LDC United) Alumni, Ryan Becher! After a great college career at UMBC and recently UCLA, his recent draft to the MSL St. Louis 2 soccer team marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in his soccer journey. Prior to joining with CITY2, Becher carved out an impressive journey through college soccer, most recently showcasing his talents at the UCLA in which he left an indelible mark with the Bruins, notching five goals and two assists in 14 appearances, including 13 starts, and played a pivotal role in propelling the team to an NCAA Tournament berth. With Ryan headed to St. Louis it feels like a homecoming, walking in the footsteps of his dad, the legendary St. Louis Hall of Fame Inductee, Bill Becher. Ryan, your Penn FC / LDC United / LDSA family wishes you nothing but the best! Let's Go City!

Congratulations to three of our players who played in the NL Conference Playoffs in December 2023. Eliza Artell (2007F Black), Mackenzie Long (2008F Black) and Katy Weller (2008F Black) were recently named as PROScore Soccers Best XI. All three players had an amazing weekend on the fields in FL at ESPN's Wide World Of Sports. Way to go ladies! 

Two of our 2008 M Black players, Aidan Gray and Ethan Jacobs, did Penn FC Youth proud at the ODP Far West Championships on the west coast. Competing in the ODP U17 Division, they clinched victories against Utah, Montana, Colorado, and Arizona. Although they fell just short in the final against Idaho, their stellar performance showcased the excellence of Penn FC Youth. 

As we bid farewell to an incredible year, filled with victories, growth, and unforgettable moments on the pitch, we eagerly step into a new chapter together.  May the upcoming year be filled with health, happiness, and countless victories both on and off the field.
